Successful Stallions in the Young Horse Championships Day 2

We'd like to highlight the stallions in the ribbons in Friday's classes in the Markel/USEF Young & Developing Horse National Championships at the Lamplight Equestrian Center. We'd like to send special congratulations to Hilltop Farm and also to Patricia Becker and Dr. Anne Ramsay. Hilltop's well-known stallion Qredit (Quarterback-Dream Rubina, Dream of Glory) was ridden by Michael Bragdell, and Patty Becker rode Dr. Ramsay's home-bred Oldenburg stallion Freedom (Feuri-Windjammer, Walk on Top). German Premium Anglo-Trakehner stallion, performance tested and 70 Day Champion
2005 16.1h, bay, premium-approved Trakehner half-blood

Bred in Germany

Standing with Buck Davidson, Jr.

Halimey is a Premium Stallion and Champion of his German 70-day performance test. He was winner of the "Best Anglo Trakehner" prize at Neumeunster in 2007, receiving top scores for both jumping and dressage. He qualified for the Bundeschampionat (German championship) for eventing (xc included) as a five and six year old and placed tenth in a field of over sixty in his only appearance.

Halimey Go is the perfect stud for a potential eventing prospect. An average of 30 percent of his foals have been classified as premium. As a sire, Halimey has already proven himself to be a valuable producer. Despite limited numbers of foals from his first crops he has had multiple progeny performance-tested over 70 percent in Germany. His offspring have consistently shown his own qualities, in particular, regarding balance and temperament.
Halimey’s sire, Askar AA, competed in the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games and his mother, Hamamelis Go, is also the dam of the stallion Harlem Go and half-sister of Pb Go Hamlet.

He has continued his success since being imported to the United States with multiple wins and placings through 2016 at the Intermediate level. His riders have consistently praised him in his balance and athleticism, but have said his rideability is what makes him truly exceptional.

Halimey's temperament is something unmatched, he is level-headed, easy to work with and a joy to be around. He has won numerous ATA awards, Received the 1st Windfall Cup with the USEA, and the 2014/15 Caesar Award.
